Description:
Universal contact adhesive for permanent surface bonding. Can be spread and rolled, bonds absorbent and non-absorbent materials together quickly and cleanly.
Application Area:
For permanent surface bonding of wood, wood-based materials, HPL, sheet metal, leather, masonry, foam rubber, rigid and flexible PUR foam, butyl rubber, etc.
Application Notes:
The materials to be bonded must be dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Thoroughly degrease metal surfaces, sand if necessary.
Acclimatise all materials before application. The most favourable processing temperature is 18 - 20°C (do not process below 15°C). The most favourable wood moisture content is 8 - 12%. Stir the adhesive before use until it is homogeneous. Dilute the adhesive only with KLEIBERIT Cleaner + Thinner 820.0 toluene-free.
Apply the adhesive evenly to both parts to be bonded. The applied adhesive must flash off for 10-15 minutes. The flash-off time is influenced by the application quantity, the temperature and the air movement.
The adhesive film must not pull any threads at the time of bonding, but must adhere (finger test).
Bring the parts to be bonded together to fit perfectly. Subsequent correction is not possible. Carry out the bonding with high contact pressure; a few seconds are sufficient pressing time.
Further processing can take place immediately.
